Self Help Resources

We’ve listed some of the books, articles, videos, etc. below for self help resources.  These have been helpful to us and to our clients.  Where possible they are are separated into categories.

And along with whatever resources appeal to you here, don’t forget that overall self-care is very important, too!  Click here to be linked to our Self Care handout with a long list of ideas about things you can do for your own self care.

Disclosure: Our primary business is providing counseling services, and at the same time we feel it is important to let you know that we may receive a small compensation on some of the links below if you make a purchase. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. Any opinions expressed here about these self help resources are our own and we encourage you to base any purchases on what you feel will be of benefit to you.

A big part of our philosophy about behavioral health is that each of us has the ability to achieve well-being and heal ourselves.  Counseling and therapy is only one way of achieving your goals.  We think it is important to share any resources we are aware of that may be helpful to you, and this prompted us to create the following list.
