Clinical Consultation and Supervision Group – Colorado
Are you looking for a group of like-minded clinicians to connect with? We are starting a group that offers both consultation and supervision. Supervision is for clinicians currently seeking LPC licensure in Colorado, and consultation for those who want to improve as both a business person and as a clinician, maintain a high ethical standard for their practice, and get to know other practitioners. Our group will begin meeting in 2019, two hours per month.
This group is facilitated by two clinicians with different approaches and backgrounds. Our goal is to foster a diverse group of clinicians that will allow each of us to expand our skills, expertise, and knowledge.
In this group, you’ll find:
- Learning opportunities – speakers, book discussions, presentations
- Case consultation
- Discussion related to therapeutic interventions, ethical considerations, cultural awareness
- Strengthening your own sense of therapeutic style
- Private practice ideas, marketing strategies
- Hours count towards professional development with DORA
- And probably the most important, peer support and self care!
Note that some of the learning opportunities we have planned will be on creating your professional will, and another on gambling addiction. If you are interested in presenting on a topic, please let us know.
Help yourself avoid the isolation in our field. Apply to join this group by contacting us at firstname.lastname@example.org, or 303-801-7878.
This group is ideal for a Colorado clinician in private practice who wants to excel!
We would like each person to commit to attending for one year. In October or November, we will evaluate whether we want to add members to the group, and how the group will continue.
Meetings are currently one Tuesday a month, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. $30/hour for supervision ($90/month) and $20/hour for consultation ($60/month). Conducted by Cathy Wilson, LPC and John Sander, MA. Cathy’s bio can be found on our About Us page, and John’s can be found on his website at https://www.arraycounseling.com/my-background/.
