G.I.R.L.S. Group WorkshopWorkshop for girls taught by Erin Calvert, MA
G.I.R.L.S. Workshops – Girls In Real Life Situations
These workshops are facilitated by Erin Calvert, LPC. She is planning several workshops for girls and will use the workbooks titled, Girls in Real Life Situations (G.I.R.L.S.). The main goal of the workshops is building a girls self esteem. Some of them are centered on that topic, some workshops also incorporate other topics such as body image, peer pressure, friendships or other topics that are important to young girls.
If you want to empower your daughter to be her best self, this workshop is for you!
Erin will form workshops according to age (there is a workbook for grades 6-12, and another for grades K-5), and according to the topics the girls show the most interest or need in. Topics include self-esteem, body image, emotions, stress, peer pressure, communication, friendships and more. There is a pre-test available to download here on our website at the link below. Erin will review your daughter’s answers to place her in the best workshop for what she most needs or wants to work on.
Each workshop will be for an hour and a half, and is $45. Multiple workshops will be conducted on different topics, and girls are welcome to attend as many as they are interested in.
If you are interested in having your daughter join, get in touch with us soon – wait lists are growing now!
