Free Workshops and Group Therapy at LifePaths Counseling Center
See below for a brief description of each of the free workshops we offer at LifePaths.
This workshop is for parents who feel that they are being alienated from their children, usually by the other parent after a divorce.
Let us help you find ways to give your children the tools they need to deal with this extremely difficult type of situation, strengthen your relationship with your children, and find support from others experiencing similar issues.
This workshop is for either friends and family of someone who has been the victim of fraud or a scam, or someone who has experienced the fraud/scam themselves. This workshop discusses the many ways that people are emotionally impacted when they are the victim of fraud, ways you can help yourself emotionally recover when you’ve been victimized in this way, and ways that you can support a friend or family member.
This workshop is for friends or family members of someone who is struggling with an addiction. We discuss coping strategies, self care, and boundaries, as well as some of the options for treatment if the addicted person in your life expresses a desire for help. These one hour workshops are held on Tuesdays at 5p at our office – 6901 S. Pierce St., Suite 350, Littleton, CO 80128. Please RSVP – space is limited! RSVP at 303-801-7878 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
The following workshops and groups are not free. In workshops, the material is presented a topic at a time, in one to two hours instead of over a six to ten week time period. Groups are offered over a specific length of time.
Most of the titles below is a link to a page with more information about that workshop/group. You can also get in touch with us by phone or email if you would like to ask some questions about the topics to be discussed and worked on.

Is there something in your life that you would like to change? It could be a habit, a way of approaching one or more of your relationships, your mindset, or any part of your life. Many therapists use what is called solution-focused brief therapy to help people make changes quickly. In this workshop, one of our therapists gives you the main ideas of how solution-focused therapy works and how you can apply it yourself! Join us for this one and a half hour workshop. Click the title above for more information.
The topics of these workshops focus on self esteem/appreciating who you are as an individual, understanding how your beliefs and values influence you and are a part of who you are, and building healthy relationships and coping skills to maintain your sense of peace and well-being. All six topics make a well-rounded series of self development activities.
