Workshop: A Solution-Focused Approach to Change

Is there something in your life that you would like to change?  It could be a habit, a way of approaching one or more of your relationships, your mindset, or any part of your life.  Many therapists use what is called solution-focused brief therapy to help people make changes quickly.  In this workshop, one of our therapists gives you the main ideas of how solution-focused therapy works and how you can apply it yourself!

Participants in this workshop will learn about:

  • Problem talk versus solution talk
  • Using self-awareness/mindfulness in the process of creating change
  • Reframing
  • Questions to ask yourself in solving a problem to create change
